Welcome Neighbor ~ Just climb on board.

Once one of our very active neighbors got a little steamed and suggested you not get railroaded by your POA board. Well, we suggest you   just come on board the Sugarhill Express.
  • Our engine is conducted by Mr. Survey and he wants y'all to come visit him up in the engine. He wants you to let him know what track you would like this train to travel.

  • Our first car is an observation car where everyone can enjoy the big huge transparent windows. The view is spectacular with nothing obscuring a thing. Here's where everyone can view the wonderful beauty of Sugarhill and discuss the best ways to preserve and enhance that beauty.

  • We sometimes encounter obstacles on our way but this locomotive has a really big cowcatcher up front.

  • Cowcatcher

In railroading, the cowcatcher or cow plow is the device mounted at the front of a locomotive to deflect obstacles on the track that might otherwise derail the train

  • The next car is our website car. Everything you ever wanted to know is packed in there.

  • Next its the mail (email that is) car. A new car for the Sugarhill Express. One thing's for sure, it never leaks personal emails out all over the place. This train believes in protecting your privacy

  • Followed by the Good Life car where no one hammers you for mostly nothing. Everyone just enjoys being alive and enjoying the ride (a favorite car).

  • Last is our nice little caboose, aka bulletin board. It's really nice and colorful and always has the last word in really big letters.

All Aboard!

We catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

Who Want's to Catch Flies?

So this is a very old expression. Dates back to the 1500s. It's literal meaning refers to how flies will get stuck in honey and stay away from you (a good thing).

The human relationship meaning refers to how you treat people. Treat them with sweetness (kindness, compassion, consideration) and you don't have as many problems (flies bothering you). Treat them nasty (vinegar) and your problems will never go away.

We believe in this motto and try to live by it.
