At the end-of-the-day everything leads to the only choice. For direct democracy to work, All of this Board must be disposed.
The Board members that voted to install Signature will have to be removed. The process is much simpler than most people think. Unwanted Board members are such a common thing that Florida Statues really make it easy.
For the entire community to be able to have a vote in the replacements all 4 remaining Board members will have to be removed. Since these four members had no problem voting for Signature with complete disregard for community opinion, they all should be removed. Leaving any of the Board members involved with the Signature implementation will only cause problems for their replacements.
They ALL have to be removed now because on Friday August 24, Dan Smith received notice he was removed from the board. In case you are not aware of Dan’s involvement in our organization he is the founder with myself (John Doty). Dan, as a Board member, started voicing opposition to the schemes and dishonest activities surrounding implementation of Signature. Because he is an American Airline Captain they were able to work their “plans” around his flight schedule. Ultimately (after they knew for sure he was their opposition) they removed him from the board “for missing 3 meetings”. Many board members have missed more than 3 meetings in the past and it has been overlooked. Not to hard to figure out what's going on there.

Pursuant to section 720.303(10), Florida Statutes, any board director may be recalled and removed from office with or without cause by the vote or agreement in writing by a majority of all the voting interests. Rule 61B-81.003, Florida Administrative Code, governs recall by written agreement. This recall ballot may be used for one successive recall effort occurring within 120 days from the date the ballot was signed by the homeowner if the first recall effort is unsuccessful. Any revocation of this agreement must be in writing and delivered to the board prior to service of the recall agreement on the board.
The Process For Board Members Removal ⇚new
Here is the legal Recall Ballot → Recall Agreement/Ballot, (to get back to here use your browser BACK button). It's important to note that the instructions on page 2 explain the voting procedure. Those instructions are VERY IMPORTANT because they show that only voting 2 off the board will get our initiative failed and put Sugarhill in a possible worse situation. Please read them. This ballot is so important that we will hand deliver them to your door if you want. We have a fleet of helpers to help us with this. You should be able to print the ballot once you have selected the above link. You can sign the hard copy and give it to Dan Smith or myself (John Doty). Sorry but we don't give phone numbers or addresses out for Internet security reasons.
We have started the Legal Petition Vote because we have a clear majority of (not legally binding) survey/votes from Survey #2 at Surveymonkey to dispose the 4 board members that voted Signature in. When you look at the survey results it looks as if we are short but we have a big number of votes that didn't do the survey and yet are on board supporters.
The Vote to Dispose
The legal form you viewed in the last paragraph has the four Board members that voted for Signature in Block A where you can check mark Recall or Retain. We, of course, would want you to select all four.
These forms would most likely need to be picked up at one location or delivered to your house prior to voting. Once the ballots are complete they can be dropped off or picked up. We only need 49 property owners positive votes to dispose the board members that voted for Signature. (50%+1 of the 97 lots in Sugarhill).
The second area, Block B, wants you to select the replacements. Our goals for this community are listed in the next paragraph. Our group will only select people that meet those goals to be entered in Block B. The form allows for a Write-In candidate so please put whom ever your want there providing they will adhere to the goals of the next paragraph.
